I wanted to share this here because of how moving it is – I agree wholeheartedly with the constituent that brought it to my attention:
“I am very disappointed that, whereas Germany has offered places for 408 families (1,553 people) and France has offered places to unaccompanied child refugees from the fire-destroyed Moria refugee camp in Lesbos, the UK has made no such offer.
I do not normally do this but, today, I have been sent this video of Welsh singers from the West End singing a song relevant to child refugees. I should be grateful if you would look at it. It made me proud to be Welsh.”
